This year we are pleased to illustrate our wishes with artwork from Erwin Van den Brande. The work selected is called “The Three Kings” and is a reference to the Wise Men, in Christian tradition, who followed a miraculous guiding star to Bethlehem, where they paid homage to the infant Jesus as king of the Jews. Erwin has held corporate positions in marketing and management for data science, information technology and advertising companies before redirecting his career, in 2008, to become a professional artist. His work has been exhibited from London to Hong Kong and has been published many times. The starting point of Erwin Van den Brande’s works are images, movies, objects and scenes from everyday life that amaze, inspire or bring peace of mind. Recently Erwin also started Dual&Day, a company with a focus on Artification: Upgrading organizations with the sublimity and power of art & culture. Dual&Day works together with artists who use company data to create new works of art to visualize that data in a different way.
